GHD Northern NSW has an opportunity for a Business Group Leader to join our Mining and Mechanical group through this period of exciting change in the industry. Our Northern NSW region (between the Central Coast to the NSW/QLD border) is at the forefront of the energy transition and with change comes a great opportunity to work with clients and stakeholders across the mining sector to sustain capital infrastructure, deliver feasibility studies and collaborate with clients to deliver a diverse range of plant, mining and related infrastructure projects.

This opportunity will see you lead a group of diverse and dedicated engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership to drive collaboration across the GHD business.

As a senior leader this role will see you leading the business through:

- Growing a pipeline of work from existing and new Clients
- Providing technical leadership and developing people
- Engaging with clients
- Delivering and/or supporting the delivery of multi-disciplinary mining projects
- Driving excellence in performance of the team

**What would you bring to the team?**
- Extensive experience, knowledge and networks in the mining industry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and audiences
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve project and commercial outcomes
- Technical leadership and management of large scale and/or diverse mining projects
- Technical qualifications and experience in engineering, project management and/or design of multidisciplinary mining projects
