**About the role**

As the Marketing Planning Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the Customer Trade plan, including all monthly & weekly planning deliverables and annual & quarterly planning cycle. You’ll co-own the customer trade planning calendar and ensure all activity across the business is aligned to customer and seasonal events, delivering against our marketing objectives.
This role will collaborate and partner closely with our Merchandise and Operations teams.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Delivery of the Customer Trade Plan, identifying and raising risks, issues and opportunities to ensure delivery of the Marketing Strategy and scorecard.
- Representing marketing’s requirements in cross functional team forums and lead collaboration to deliver the Marketing strategy.
- Leading a robust Marketing Calendar of Events, bringing cross-functional teams together, to ensure collaboration and alignment of the Customer Trade Plan.
- Manage a broad set of key stakeholders, negotiating and influencing to bring plans to life for our customers and our stores.
- Continuously review and improve ways of working cross functionally in order to drive greater alignment, improved results, and more efficient way of working.

**About You**
With a collaborative working style and strong influencing skills you will support the marketing process to bring to life our strategy for our customers and our stores. You will be a strategic thinker, who can look at the bigger picture and forward plan.
- Strong experience in a dedicated Marketing environment.
- Understanding of annual customer/trade planning in a Marketing context.
- Working knowledge of supplier-retail marketing partnerships.
- Project Management & Agile mindset/experience an advantage.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Marketing preferred.
- Strong communication and confidence presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction and deal with ambiguity.
