The Role**:Trainer & Assessor - Building and Construction **- DGT Employment & Training

Due to recent growth, we are looking to expand our team and require an energetic and enthusiastic qualified Building and Construction Trainer & Assessor.

**The role is permanent, full-time, working mainly Monday to Friday.**

**We are seeking a trainer to work in our Meadowbrook and/or Toowoomba training facilities.**

**To be considered for this role, essential criteria include**:
Recent work experience within the Building and Construction industries

Must hold TAE40116 Cert IV Training & Assessment qualification (or equivalent)

Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence

Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Blue Card and completion of a satisfactory national criminal history check

Must hold Statements of Attainment or qualifications equivalent up to and including Certificate III in Building and Construction.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**:
Deliver training and assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)

Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets the RTO Standards and ASQA regulations

Assist with site preparation for theory based class-room component

Supervise students behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training

Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager - Operations

**About You**:
You will have a can-do attitude and an upbeat personality

Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer and hold current industry skills

You will need to be an Australian Resident
