**The Role**:
As the Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and driving organisational success through our people. You will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that promote employee engagement, talent development, and organisational effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of our business and the franchise brands under the CWG portfolio.
**Day to day will include**:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
- Partnering with the senior leadership team to anticipate and address workforce needs and challenges
- Providing insights and recommendations on talent acquisition, retention, and development to support business growth
- Providing leadership and support to the L&D Manager and team in driving learning initiatives throughout CWG and the brands
- Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance HR and L&D initiatives
Talent Management and Development:
- Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding processes
- Implementing talent development programs to cultivate skills and competencies aligned with organisational goals
- Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on career development, performance feedback and succession planning
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Championing a ‘Happy & Healthy’ positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity, equity and belonging
- Designing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being
- Leading employee communication strategies to ensure transparency and alignment across the organisation
- Monitoring employee sentiment and organisational health metrics, through formal Employee Engagement Surveys & GPTW certification and other proactive informal measures such as employee conversations and stay-interviews and to address issues and improve morale.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Overseeing HR operations, including HRIS/employee records management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures to maintain a fair and consistent workplace environment
- Managing employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution processes in a timely and effective manner, both for CWG and oversight for the brands
- Staying up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance in all HR practices
Leadership and Team Development:
- Building and leading a high-performing HR team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
- Fostering collaboration and teamwork across HR functions and with other departments to achieve common goals
- Serving as a role model and advocate for the company's values and culture, inspiring others to do the same
Other:

**Experience and about you**:
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a strategic and senior leadership capacity
- Proven experience managing a broad HR function and team
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent management principles, and employment law
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment required
- Franchising industry experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems and drive results
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive workplace cultures
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
