$85,000 to $100,000 + Super (Relative to experience)

**Your new role**

This position is working as a Food & Beverage Manager for the inhouse restaurant, bar and lounge at this high-end site, and you will be an integral part of the daily operations and would need to have a real focus on training and improving the current staff on site. In this role, you will have a real opportunity to put your own stamp on processes and implement tailored programs to get the best out of your team. The responsibilities are as follows:

- Ensure high standards are being met and maintained in relation to the service of food within the restaurant, room service, conferencing, and residential catering for long-term guests.
- Overall responsibility for the cleaning and maintenance of the workspace, tableware, utensils, and any additional equipment/materials that have been used by your department.
- You are required to work closely with the Executive Chef on site, ensuring operations are running efficiently and smoothly between both front of house and back of house operations. Be a driving factor in creating a positive work environment
- Recruit, manage, train, and develop the food and beverage team.
- Responsible for maintaining and working on a budget, managing staff rosters, order relevant stock & materials and dealing with external suppliers and management of invoices and monthly expenditure.
- Have a real emphasis on training staff, creating training programs to get the best out of staff and have a standardised process.
- Ensure guests are receiving high quality and efficient service

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- 3-5 years of relevant leadership experience, ideally in the hotel industry and fine dining.
- Experience of previously managing budgets, payroll and overall revenue and expenses.
- Excellent understanding of hotel operations, revenue management and strategic thinking.
- A strong understanding of food safety requirements, creating rosters, and training strategies.
- Excellent time management, people management and communication skills with both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
- RSA Certificate
