**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role details**

**_ As a Relief position, you will be allocated shifts at multiple Post Offices within a geographical location with various start times from 6am, and an ability to work at multiple locations is a requirement of this position_**
- ** Locations include**: Bourke St, Flinders Lane, Law Courts, East Melb, Docklands & Carlton South**:

- Pay rate $27.04 / hour increases to $28.91 / hour after approx. 3 months, + 12% Superannuation
- Extensive, supportive training (up to 12 weeks) on commencement
- Part Time, 6 months fixed-term position working 15 hours per week: 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday

**You’ll be**
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

**About you**
- You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.
- You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting.
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
