**Your new company**

Partnering with world-leading manufacturers, this innovative business specialises in solar power solutions for their clients. Going from strength to strength with year-on-year growth, they have recently expanded to Victoria and have had some tremendous success in this space. As a result of this continued growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Officer to join their team in Melbourne’s east.

**Your new role**

Your day-to-day responsibilities for this role will include:

- Checking and monitoring of orders
- Sourcing of new stock if not on-hand
- Liaise with freight companies to arrange timely dispatch and delivery
- Speak to and update customers on order statuses
- Prepare and process invoices
- Maintain accuracy of stock and ensure the system is reflecting this

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- An understanding of freight processes
- Proven experience in processing orders accurately and on time (DIFOT)
- Strong understanding of inventory management
- A focus on customer service and providing 'above and beyond' service
- A willingness to take initiative with a focus on new solutions
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with good phone manner
