We are currently assisting two large local government in the metro area in their search for
**Building Surveyors** and
**Building Compliance Officers**.

The
**Building surveyor** position is classified as a split level 5/6 where the salary range is $77,045.24 - $89,171.77 plus super (up to 14% with co-contributions). In this role, the successful applicant must be able to carry the following duties:

- Ensure building records and information systems are correct and up to date.
- Carry out site inspections to assess compliance of building code approvals, with the Building Code of Australia and Statutory controls.
- Provide technical advice and expertise to internal and external customers in relation to building development.

The
**Building Compliance **position is offered on a temporary basis. The hours of work would be based on the scope of duties performed, as per the below:

- Full scope of duties - Five days per week, at 38 hours per week;
- **Building compliance** duties only - Three days per week, at 22.8 hours per week; or
- **Pool inspection** duties only - Two days per week, at 15.2 hours per week.
