**What to Expect**

The Yard Operations Specialist will be crucial in ensuring efficient vehicle processing and movement within the Tesla storage facility.

This role involves maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating vehicle movements within established timeframes, and liaising with external logistics providers and internal stakeholders. Effective communication with various departments and third parties, as well as collaboration with the Yard Coordinator to manage a substantial volume of vehicles, is essential.

**What You'll Do**
- Pick and re-position cars within the compound as instructed by Yard Coordinator.
- Coordinate and monitor yard operations in conjunction with third-party logistics providers and vendors.
- Monitor, record and report damage claims within the facility.
- Problem solve and be able to escalate priority issues.
- Work with the Tesla Logistics team to aid in vehicle movements
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships and communicate relevant information across all levels of the organization.
- Identify areas for improvement in yard operations, recommending and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and enhance safety.
- Be able to work under high pressure and during demanding periods.
- Implementing safety protocols and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the logistics yard and across all logistics activities.

**What You'll Bring**
- Relevant experience in similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail oriented, extreme accuracy, good numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a good level of physical fitness
- large amount of walking required in all types of weather.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in yard operations.
- Administrative and automotive experience preferred.
- Must hold a full local Driver Licence with an excellent and safe driving history.
