Joining in the early stages, this role is the pure definition of ‘Progressive’. The scope to grow is uncapped and you can really develop this role as your own. You will be an imperative part of building and managing supplier relationships, while working closely with the team to ensure the best meal kits on the market.
We are looking for an ambitious, confident, entrepreneurial, and high-spirited
procurement professional, who will bring an analytical, strategic, structured and proactive way of working, focused on delivering results and achieving outcomes.
You will have a commercial mindset with a good combination of soft and hard skills. You need to be hungry to take on a challenge and make an impact at a fun, fast-growing meal kit delivery service business.
With at least 3-5 years in a Procurement based role, perhaps within Category Management or senior buying, you will work closely with the Head of Sourcing and Logistics to provide procurement advice, pricing, reporting, compliance, and tenders. You will be adept at creating improvement initiatives and using your moderate to advanced analytical capability to provide insights in real time. Fresh produce experience is not a requirement, just a bonus to help you succeed in the role.
Most importantly, you will have an agile attitude, the ability to balance system and process, you get the job done and you have a solid work ethic.
