atWork Australia has been helping parents with young children to prepare and move into work once their children are at school through the ParentsNext Program.

The ParentsNext Job Coach will provide tailored early intervention assistance to parents with young children by helping parents to identify their education and employments goals and to refer them to local activities and service providers to help them to achieve their goals

**Key duties;**
- Working closely with Parents to develop tailored assistance plans which identify employment and education goals while taking into consideration caring responsibilities, barriers and family circumstances;
- Assist in identifying and planning activities to progress their goals;
- Maintain regular contact with participants to ensure engagement and updates to plans;
- Identify and refer participants to relevant service providers where service gaps are identified;
- Provide advice and effective and tailored use of the participation fund where applicable.

**Qualifications**:
You will be experienced managing a caseload of participants, keen to challenge your skills and drive a new service along with;
- Experience working with parents or families - highly regarded;
- Experience in providing support, information and referrals to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds;
- Knowledge of labour market and education trends;
- Ability to build rapport and network with key stakeholders;
- Demonstrated experience in providing casework, referral and assessment and information services;
- Highly organised, results driven and ability to work autonomously and
- Current drivers' licence and ability to travel throughout the South Metro if required.
