**To be successful in this position you need to demonstrate;**

**Essential**:

- Work Safely in the Construction Industry Certificate (White Card)
- Sound knowledge of safe work practices
- Basic written and numerical skills and the ability to provide information to other employees and customers\
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated practical experience using road maintenance and construction equipment, hand tools and minor plant equipment
- Current “C” Class West Australian Driver's License

**Desirable**:

- Basic Traffic Management Certificate
- Traffic Controller Certificate
- Advanced Traffic Management Certificate
- Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize a tablet independently
- Knowledge of road and drainage maintenance and construction techniques
- Demonstrated competency in undertaking specified laboring duties for civil projects and maintenance tasks
- Substantial experience driving a variety of trucks and plant
- Current "MR" Class West Australian Driver's License
- Current "HR" Class West Australian Driver's License
- Relevant plant/equipment operation certificate
- First Aid Certificate
