- **To undertake Road Maintenance activities involving concrete work, asphalt work, drainage work and signage maintenance.**

- **To undertake various other duties as directed within the Operations and Maintenance Business unit**

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved programs, procedures, specifications and budgets.
- Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with relevant Occupational Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments and that all personal protective equipment is worn.
- Gain co-operation from team members and the public in the provision of works or services undertaken.
- Undertake duties involved in the preparation, placement and compaction of Asphalt under limited supervision.
- Undertake duties involved in the preparation, forming, placement and finishing of concrete under limited supervision. Undertake duties involving the maintenance and replacement of drains and pits under limited supervision.
- Remove and replace damaged pit covers (concrete, steel, or grate) utilising truck mounted crane where access via truck is available.
- Undertake duties involving the maintenance of all Council signs and traffic management facilities within the municipality under limited supervision.
- Provide Traffic Management support via the placement of signage & traffic management devices on work sites.
