**The Opportunity**:
This role sits within the Technical Support Assets Team in the Coastal and Islands Region. As the Ranger Assets OO5, you will work in a small team to successfully identify, develop, plan and implement the Regions priority infrastructure and asset requirements. Under the guidance of the Senior Ranger Assets, you would assist in providing the management of the maintenance, plant and equipment and fleet programs in each management unit with a focus on the Moreton Area, supporting the operational staff to achieve these programs.

Your planning skills will be important in juggling and meeting competing priorities, while your ability to engage and communicate within the team and the management units will be the key to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment. Knowledge of infrastructure construction and maintenance practices including administrative procedures and business rules, project management experience and procurement skills are all highly regarded for this position.
Whilst this position has a focus on the Moreton Area, there may be opportunities to contribute to the asset management of other areas in the region such a K'Gari (Fraser Island) or Cooloola. There may be travel required involving one or more nights away from your home base for your duties, participating in team meetings or site visits.

- Demonstrated IT skills such as utilising different databases and programs including financial and project management systems.
- Ability to use a range of processes, tools and techniques to effectively manage a project or program to achieve milestones and deadlines.
