Retail Sales Associate

**The Role**

Stihl Shop Stanmore is seeking a reliable Casual Retail Sales Associate to join our small and close-knit team on a casual basis. As the Retail Sales Associate you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere to all Stihl customers.

**The Responsibilities**
- Deliver an outstanding experience for every customer
- Process sales and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Create an inviting and product focussed environment
- Manage stock including receiving, unpacking and refilling of displays
- Perform all tasks set out for you in line with health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to improve processes

**The Requirements**

**Must Have**
- **Good communication skills**: the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues clearly and effectively, providing clear guidance and advice when requested.
- **Good organisational skills**: good organisational and multitasking abilities while handling multiple customer enquiries, orders and requests.
- **Good problem solving**:the capacity to identify and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring a smooth customer experience and a safe working environment.

**Bonus**
- **Gardening tools and equipment knowledge**: knowledge of small engine outdoor power equipment (chainsaws, grass trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers) or involvement with the garden construction and maintenance industries.
- **Mechanical interest**: willingness to learn how to perform basic mechanical servicing of machines, full training and support provided, we’re simply after a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $33.19 per hour
