**What We Are Looking For**

We are looking for a Commercial Manager with solid experience on large infrastructure Projects. This Project-based role will manage the post-award commercial and finance administration functions, as well as leading the review and audit of the production of commercial and project reporting to meet management and statutory commercial requirements.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Commercial Law or similar is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior commercial roles in the Construction or Resource industry with at least 3 working for a Contractor.
- Experience in effective and profitable management of contracts. This includes identification of, and managing risks, cost, and Change management along with tendering and awarding project procurement.
- The role will be key in maintaining client relationships, analysing strategies, creating mitigation measures, and developing improved action plans for the profitability of the Project.
- Strong negotiator with a proven track record of settling claims. Taking this into account, the role requires sophisticated communication and influencing skills.Ability to mentor junior team members.

**Responsibilities Include**

Reporting to the Project Manager, responsibilities include:

- Prepare and submit monthly client progress claims
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Manage project procurement
- Manage site (contract) administration
- Head contract and Subcontractor Administration
- Assist with financial audits (internal and external).
- Monitor and report on government policy requirements.Provide commercial advice and support to the project team.
