**The Role**

An excellent opportunity has arisen at our Cracow Gold Operations to join the team as a **HR Officer**. Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks relating to HR on site and providing support to individuals and supervisors on all matters regarding HR.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the recruitment function for site, including support hiring managers in interviews and manage onboarding and inductions of new employees
- Provide support and education for people leaders and employees on people processes, policies, and procedures
- Administer the Annual Performance Review process
- Manage the employee Service Award process
- Initiate transactions in the HRIS to maintain HR master data records
- Provide HR transactional and administrative support for HR processes
- Preparation of letters for employment changes
- Run Ad Hoc reports for data as requested by key stakeholders
- Undertake HR Projects and event coordination when applicable
- Liaise with and provide site content to the Corporate Communications Team
- Develop and sustain relationship with Key Community Stakeholders
- Promote understanding and awareness of cross-cultural issues and cultural heritage obligations at site

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in a human resource or related discipline (or studying)
- Previous experience in a HR Officer capacity within the mining or heavy industry (desirable)
- Software experience with Pronto or Redmap is desirable
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills, including setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and handling competing demands without compromise on standards or service and quality
- Demonstrated aptitude in the use of complex Human Resource Information Systems
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages

**The Operation**
Cracow is an Underground Gold Operation located some 500km North-west of Brisbane and employs 220 people.
