As an Education Manager - Business and Industry Partnerships, Business & Information Technology, your key responsibilities include:
- Identify new strategies within the Business Area to ensure ongoing growth, new products and areas of specialisation, and innovative delivery models to maximise and promote commercial activity.
- Lead the design and implementation of commercially viable Business and Leadership Management programs, including short courses, micro-credentials, and bespoke corporate training.
- Liaise with industry clients and internal commercial teams to scope and deliver customised programs that meet specific workforce and enterprise development needs.
- Collaborate regularly with clients to drive business growth and revenue through strategic product development, relationship management, and commercial planning.
- Engage with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs and currency.
- Lead and manage teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational currency and development requirements
- Manage and support the validation of assessment strategies across all operational areas and maintain a continuous improvement register in accordance with registration standards
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications required for the role:
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 5 or 6 level or higher.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2025
- Bachelor of Business, Management or related field
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
