Flamingos Live in Lambton (Near Newcastle), NSW, is looking for (local) passionate individuals to join our bar team. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’d love to hear from you

**About Flamingos Live**: Flamingos Live is a unique theatre restaurant offering live entertainment and exceptional dining. Hosting up to 200 guests, our kitchen delivers the high-quality meals that make every experience unforgettable.

**What You’ll Do**:
As part of our bar team, you will:
**Drink Preparation**: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, in accordance with venue standards.

**Customer Service**: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide recommendations based on preferences, and ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

**Bar Operations**: Maintain a clean and organised bar area. Restock beverages and supplies as needed throughout your shift, and ensure the bar is fully stocked before service begins.

**Cash Handling**: Process payments accurately, including cash and card transactions, and use the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.

**Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and venue policies. Check customer IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible service of alcohol (RSA) practices.

**Teamwork**: Work collaboratively with other staff, including servers and management, to ensure the smooth running of the bar during live music events.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experience**: Previous bartending experience in a high-volume venue is preferred, particularly in a live music or entertainment setting.
- **RSA Certification**: Must have a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and drink preparation, even in a busy environment.
- **Team Player**: Must be able to work collaboratively and efficiently with other staff members.
- **Adaptability**: Able to stay calm under pressure, especially during peak times when the venue is busy.
- **Passion for Music**: A love for live music and understanding the energy of the venue can enhance the customer experience.

Pay: $23.91 - $42.72 per hour
