We are looking for confident, enthusiastic **S**upport Workers **to join our teams in the Claremont and Floreat area and provide high care direct supports to our customers.

**Floreat Team**

Day supports for customer living with Autism 12pm -4pm (overnight support possibility in the future). Plus a new team member to support a variety of customers between 9am and 5pm.

**Claremont Team** are needing the following shifts covered;
- 8am - 5pm Week days or;
- 8am - 1pm Week days
- 9am - 1pm Weekends
- 8am - 9am and 5pm - 6pm week days personal care supports
- 9am - 12pm and 12pm - 5pm - community supports

**There's no 'typical day' but it may include...**.
- Personal care
- Community Supports
- Complex manual tasks such as hoisting (training provided)
- Hydrotherapy assistance
- Domestic assistance
- Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
- Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
- Regular communication with local team and participation in team meetings

**What we require**:

- Previous support work experience in Disability
- Previous Autism experience is essential for those interested in joining our Floreat team
- Previous epilepsy experience is also desirable
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
- Ability to problem solve, think creatively and find innovative solutions
- Competent using of a Smart Phone and Apps
- Availability to attend mandatory and paid training during the week
- ** A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle**:

- ** A NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one**

- An hourly rate starting from $30.46 per hour plus super and afternoon/evening shift loading, weekend penalties and all leave accruals
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support through our on the job Traineeship program
- Option to Salary Package up to $18,550 to reduce taxable income
- A Mobile Phone to use for work
- Pay for kilometres and time travelled between supports
- Extra 2 days of leave per year and 17.5% leave loading for Annual Leave
