About the role
- To provide specialised research skills to support the development of research infrastructure and research capacity for Allied Health Professions at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
- To provide leadership, mentoring and support for Health Practitioners to undertake research, and translation of research into practice (TRIP).
- To develop and participate in collaborative, multi-disciplinary research partnerships with internal and external research groups.

About you
- Specialised knowledge, expertise and skill in clinical research as recognised by clinical experience, professional development activities, post graduate education, research publications and/or formal qualifications
- High level understanding of clinical continuum of care from multidisciplinary and managerial perspectives
- High level of knowledge and expertise in research methodology including standardised data collection, management, data analysis and reporting to support clinical service delivery, service improvement and research capacity
- Ability to provide high level advice, requiring a specialist perspective, to a diverse range of clinical and executive stakeholders: professional and operational supervisors and relevant service managers, regarding the design and conduct of high-quality clinical research and translation of research into practice
- A high level of skill in leading and facilitating research related communication, including disseminating research findings and reporting research outcomes to multiple stakeholder groups at a variety of levels both inside and outside the organisation
- Ability to lead change through the leadership and management of research, quality and service improvement activities and to translate research into clinical practice
- Ability to provide clinical supervision, support and mentorship to staff and students
