Dreamworld, Australia’s favourite family theme park and SkyPoint, one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic visitor attractions located atop the Q1 Building in Surfers Paradise seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Security Officer to join our team.
The role of a Security Officer is to provide maximum security and safety for all persons and assets within Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint. This full-time position will be predominantly rostered for nights, with responsibilities including but not limited to; nightly fridge and freezer checks, locking up the park and securing buildings and gates, patrols and animal welfare checks.
We seek friendly, customer focused security professionals with a ‘can-do’ approach who will thrive in our ‘FUN’ and unique environment, whilst proactively responding to a variety of situations as they arise. To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the below criteria:
- Have exceptional communication skills;
- Be approachable and outgoing;
- Have technical proficiency with using computer based systems;
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure;
- Exceptional presentation standards;
- Previous Security experience is essential
In addition to the above, you must have a **current driver’s licence, first aid and CPR certificate, security licence (including unarmed, crowd controller and monitoring), plus a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.**
