The _Warehouse Officer_ for Leica Biosystems is responsible for a range of duties to support the overall warehouse operations to ensure timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Some roles may include specific Inwards Goods and/or Dispatch responsibilities.

This position is part of the _Warehouse Distribution Team_ located in _Mount Waverley _and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- _ Prepare goods for storage or shipment, labelling and categorizing items according to specifications._
- _ Daily replenishment of materials to cell Kanban bins, supermarket and common warehouse areas_

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Experience in using both reach and counterbalance forklifts (Inwards Goods only)
- Experience in warehousing and inventory management processes
- Understanding of kanban

**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**: _A valid forklift license is required for the role._

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Experience in SAP
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
- Understanding of medical device industry
