**Sterile Supply Technician - Veterinary Specialist and Referral Centre**

**Adelaide SA**

**This is a great opportunity for a passionate experienced veterinary or human Sterile Supply Technician to join our highly performing team of Specialist and Emergency vets and nurses for a minimum of 30 hours per week**

**The position requires a**
**Certificate III in Sterilisation qualifications (or working towards) or a minimum of 2 years as a Sterile Supply Technician.**

The Adelaide Animal Emergency & Referral Centre is a 24hr multi-disciplinary centre offering emergency, specialist, and referral veterinary services. We have a strong ethic of providing the very best treatment and care for pets in the fields of emergency medicine, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, dentistry, specialist surgery, critical care, and diagnostic imaging. Our environment is fast paced, working closely within an efficient team.
- You will have a vital role within a dedicated specialist surgery, medicine, dental and emergency department’s providing attention to detail sterilising and maintaining specialised equipment
- Maintain the SSD area and equipment including service & maintenance agreements
- Actively participate in quality improvements, initiatives, risk management & OHS activities
- Assist with management of general stock control
- Knowledge of diverse sterilisation techniques, and instrument care
- Knowledge of scope sterilisation, maintenance, and care
- Motivated and self-directed with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Excellent understanding of Infection and quality control
- Attention to detail and takes pride in your work
- Excellent time Management skills and ability to multi-task
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high stress environment as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work flexible hours
