Coliban Water provides water, sewage and reclaimed water services to 49 towns in North Central Victoria. Based in beautiful Bendigo, we are one of the largest Victorian regional urban water corporations.

To meet the challenges of climate change, aging assets and regional growth, we are working across a pipeline of strategic initiatives to uplift our capability and ways of working. We need to set ourselves up to undertake a significant infrastructure build and to continually improve the value we deliver to our customers.

So, we’re building an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to drive the establishment of project portfolio practices to redefine how Coliban Water makes strategic investment decisions.
We are seeking an EPMO Strategy Benefit Lead to play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the alignment of the portfolio with Coliban Water’s strategy by participating in strategic and business planning, establishing and coordinating benefits management along with the day to day coordination and delivery of the portfolio management function.

The role will require excellent communication skills and will work across a broad range of stakeholders to create a shared understanding and commitment. The position will coach and guide others and will require proficiency in portfolio project management practices and tools.

**As our EPMO Strategy Benefits Lead you’ll be accountable for**:

- Developing and maintaining the Coliban Water portfolio management framework
- Provide strategy and business planning support to all delivery teams
- Benefits management - including assessing benefits planning across the portfolio and reviewing post program/project benefits against the original business cases
- Developing and owning the strategy for training and education in portfolio management
- Enabling portfolio, program and project management forums and sharing of good practice
- Conducting an annual portfolio, program and project maturity assessment for Coliban Water

Ours is a tight-knit team with a great culture. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for the water and wastewater sector, has a proactive approach to problem solving along with demonstrated leadership abilities.

To be considered for the role you’ll have a degree in Business, IT, Portfolio Management or Project Management, have several years’ experience as a PMO professional, Portfolio Manager or Benefits Manager, solid knowledge in various project management methodologies and practices, and looking to grow your career in an organisation doing work that matters to its community.
