Trades Assistant

This opportunity is a 6-month term contract position, as the trade assistant you will be responsible for delivering trade-based work that ensures Parramatta’s public domain and facilities are maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of the city and to promote Parramatta as Australia’s next great city.
On a daily basis you will:
- Undertake a range of labouring activities associated with the trades team.
- Removal of graffiti by painting, chemically and using high pressure equipment. Installation and maintenance of road signage and traffic control devices.
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or emergencies to meet community needs.

Monday-Friday
- 6:00am-2:30pm
**Qualifications**
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s License (Class MR)
- Possession of a construction industry certificate “White Card”
- Possession of a current Traffic Control certificate TCR and IMP
- Asbestos Awareness
**What’s on offer**:
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $63,891.71 to $70,336.32 plus 11% superannuation.
