Construction Manager - Role & Responsibilities:
- Programming and Scheduling of projects, labour, plant, equipment & Subcontractors.
- Forecast supply and demand requirements for labour, plant, equipment & Subcontractors.
- Advise project teams on plant & equipment suitability and availability.
- Manage internal self-perform and subcontractor resources.
- Manage & Conduct weekly Toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts as required;
- Tracking equipment quality throughout the product lifetime;
- Take appropriate action to resolve mechanical faults/breakdowns;
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices;
- Coach and mentor the Construction team and identify training needs to meet individual and team goals;
- Coach and mentor construction field personnel on company process and systems including Assigner.
- Reviewing processes with key stakeholders, identifying issues and introducing ways to improve standards on an ongoing basis.
- Interpretation of plans, specifications & schedules ensuring all construction activities conform to or exceed company, project specific and Australian standard requirements across the relevant work scope.
- Carry out complete reviews of IFC drawings, specifications & schedules issued to construction prior to instructing field team to incorporate information into the delivery of assigned work packages.
- Identify any issues or concerns from the review of some documentation in the weekly construction meeting minutes.
- Works to be completed to specific HSEQ guidelines ensuring all construction activities conform to or exceed company, project specific and Australian standard HSEQ requirements across the relevant work scope.
- Interacting with the pre-contracts team in assisting with tendering, methodology, scheduling and cost estimating
- Leading Company Operation, Construction, HSEQ Meetings as required.
- Ensure good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders are maintained
- Effectively and professionally manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Approach to SAFETY as being the number one non-negotiable in the delivery of projects
- Ability to manage construction phases of large, complex, turnkey infrastructure D&C projects
- Coordinate delivery activities to achieve project time and budget objectives
- Identifying opportunities for improvement related to business processes or systems.
- preparing tenders and contract bids
- ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety
- arranging building inspections by local authorities

Mandatory Medicals:
- Hep A & B, tetanus immunity
- Drug & / or Alcohol Testing (randomly)
Salary Expectations:
- $120,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
Job Location
- Project across South East Queensland.
