Sydney, Australia Pop Family Entertainment Full time

Pop Family are actively looking for experienced 3D riggers to join the team on a 3D animated feature film, for theatrical release.
This will be a full-time contract position starting immediately (duration may vary depending on role and skill set).
We are using Amazon Nimble Studio and our cloud-based pipeline which allows our team to work remotely.

You will:
Have some experience working with animators, receiving, and actioning feedback.
A passion for problem-solving.

Knowledge in python for the creation of tools and utilities automating animation/rigging processes.

Bring enthusiasm to a fun-loving team.

An artistic eye and ability to create appealing blend shapes.

Willing to learn and collaborate in making rig components in a developing pipeline.
Accountable for meeting schedules and deadlines, participating in dailies, rounds and team reviews of work in progress.

Pluses:
Knowledge of API Open Maya.
Able to problem solve using maths.
Interact with production, supervisors, and team/ peers in order to problem solve and share information related to show/ assigned tasks.

Knowledge of Shotgrid (desirable).

2-year diploma/1-year certificate or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
