**About the Role**

The Library Assistant is an integral member of the library, contributing to the daily operations of the Primary School Library. This includes returning, sorting, issuing, and shelving books and helping students or teachers locate the books they require. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and inspiring them to learn, working in a team to provide a welcoming customer-focused friendly environment.

**About You**

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

- The ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff
- The ability to implement initiatives, project delivery and change management
- Administrative and organisational skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of accessing, circulating and cataloguing items and other collection management procedures with Library Management Systems
