**The Role**:
Reporting to the CEO NRMA Parks and Resorts, this is a newly created executive leadership position, which will see you playing a pivotal role in our senior leadership team. Based at our stunning beachfront location in Coolangatta, with hybrid working opportunities, you will play an integral role in developing and delivering operational initiatives to support the NRMA Parks and Resorts Business. This position will provide an opportunity to lead organisational innovation, develop performance and culture while always maintaining an uncompromising focus on safety.
- Set the strategic plan for the operations of the portfolio of managed and owned parks
- Participate as an active member of the NRMA Parks and Resorts senior leadership team and provide sound and innovative advice to the CEO on the development and implementation of operational strategy
- Drive the delivery of operational performance against budget targets at all park, improving efficiency and expenditure control.
- Ensure guest service standards achieve appropriate metrics
- Accountable for the meeting of all compliance standards and the maintaining of a safe workplace and guest environment
- Maintain high performance of contract management with through selection and monitoring of all contract managers
- Build the capacity, performance and career outcomes of employees within the Operations unit
- Foster team engagement such that performance drives business success
- Work with the NRMA Park and Resorts Senior Leadership Team in maintaining and monitoring employment levels, expectations and motivation to fulfil organizational requirements, and monitor performance against business plans
- Encourage and promote a culture that embraces change and entrepreneurial activities to drive competitive advantage
- Contribute to the development and management of an annual business plan and budget
- Develop robust business cases to support investment in new initiatives and revenue raising

- A proven track record of leading Operational teams, driving culture outcomes and coaching people to ensure talent and succession management.
- Demonstrated capacity to operate as part of leadership team, with an excellent commercial, guest and employee perspective.
- Strong Stakeholder engagement skills and ability to collaborate with all stakeholders including senior leadership teams and executives.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- A proven track record of managing operational budgets with both operational and capital expenditure.
- Tertiary level qualifications (e.g. bachelor degree) in Business or similar discipline.
- A proven track record of working in a large multi-location and diverse workforce operating environment.
- An affinity with the NRMA Group culture, vision and the holiday park/tourism industry
- Available for regular travel within Australia.
