Our client in the travel industry seeks **Accounts Payable Team Leader** to be based out of their office in North Sydney.

**About the role**:
The Accounts Payable Team Leader - (Reconciliation & Financial Control) will be leading, motivating, and maximising the team of four to ensure the long term, positive Accounts relationship with its Suppliers, Partners and customers. The Team Leader will also focus on coaching the ongoing growth of Team Members, process improvements and efficiencies.

This role is also accountable for accounts reconciliation, end of month activities and the associated queries from internal and external stakeholders. This involves, but is not limited to account reconciliation, internal accounting queries from Management Accounting and Commercial Finance team and end of month activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, motivate, and develop your team and cultivate a positive team culture.
- Tier 1 escalation support for offshore teams.
- Implement best practices for superior customer experiences.
- Ensure timely and accurate query resolution. cultivate positive customer relationships.
- Conduct Balance Sheet Reconciliations and provide analysis and support to Management Accounting.
- Track and report ledger aging.
- Manage daily workflow between office and offshore teams.

**About You**:

- Minimum 2-5 years of Accounts Payable or P2P experience.
- Previous leadership or 2IC experience (desirable).
- Relevant qualification will be highly regarded.
- Travel Industry knowledge would be advantageous.
- Experience with Dynamics365 (desirable).
- Proficient in KPIs & Key Deliverables.
- Business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
- Self-motivated, driven and proficient in building relationships and collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
