**About the role**

We are seeking a people focused Assistant Venue Manager to join the management team at Vikings Sports Club in Dundas. The role will be focused on supporting, mentoring and leading our staff to provide a high level of customer service.

Reporting to the General Manager of Vikings Sports Club, the Assistant Venue Manager will bring great experience in leadership and be well versed in F&B, Gaming and functions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage the operations of the venue - including opening and closing procedure, safe operations, managing multiple outlets
- Establish and maintain good customer relations with the ability to handle member and patron complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor operations and provide feedback in relation to growth opportunities or business improvements
- Actively participate in the performance development of staff and provide key mentorship

**What makes you perfect for the role?**
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in similar role
- Team management and leadership experience with demonstrated ability to development and mentor staff
- Knowledge and understanding of gaming products and equipment, food & beverage services
- Holds appropriate licensing and certification (i.e. RSA RCG, Advanced RCG, First Aid and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
