About the Opportunity
At Uniting, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. As our Early Steps Facilitator, you'll play a key role in delivering an innovative project that supports services, develops future educators and improves outcomes for children and families.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of the Early Steps Project, ensuring it aligns with Uniting's goals and vision
  • Oversee program operations, including service recruitment and student placements with our university partner
  • Serve as the main liaison for services, sector experts and other key stakeholders
  • Build strong team relationships across Early Learning and the wider organisation
  • Report on project progress, engagement and outcomes
  • Manage resources effectively while maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment

What you'll bring:

  • Diploma in Children Services
  • 5+ years' experience working with children under 12 and a strong understanding of child development and protection
  • Demonstrated project coordination, facilitation and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Confidence in problem-solving, decision-making and managing complex organisational relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Work Health & Safety and risk management practices
  • Current Working With Children Check, driver's licence and computer literacy
  • A passion for social change and commitment to Uniting's vision and values
