**About the role**

Reporting to an experienced Risk & Compliance specialist and Business partner, you will be a key member of a growing function with strong support and a business wide mandate.

This new role will make a significant contribution towards executing Sportsbet’s risk management and compliance strategy and operating model by performing an advisory and partnering role across departments. As the steward of Sportsbet’s new GRC tool and your success will encompass the accountability of implementation, training and support and embedding. In addition, you will also lead the Reporting within the Line 2 team, using GRC data to deliver mature and robust reports to our stakeholders both within Sportsbet and to Flutter.

Owning risk and compliance governance and projects with senior stakeholders, this role will shift the dial on the risks that really matter while ensuring Sportsbet maintains its licence to operate.

Your commercial acumen and growth mindset places you well to provide independent opinion and recommendation in an energetic and engaging manner that will result in influencing Sportsbet’s operational performance.

Duties Include
- Lead the delivery of Sportsbet’s GRC Tool (CAMMS) sponsored by Flutter. Identify the requirements for successful implementation with regards to: Training, Awareness, Support, Framework and Policy uplift.
- Perform a multi-year decommissioning including QA of existing data, identifying the plan to migrate data into the new system and the support required to ensure business process continuity.
- Mature the governance structures that exist within Sportsbet, driving outcomes through data led reporting
- Drive consistency in governance systems and standardise and mature Risk and Compliance reporting (within Line 2, across Sportsbet and to those stakeholders at Flutter and/or across Flutter’s brands)
- Identify how RAS and KRIs strengthen governance in Risk Committees
- Steward the policies across Sportsbet, specifically looking at building out test scripts and carry out testing to provide policy owners assurance on policy adherence
- Deliver strategic projects and initiatives at the request of Head of Risk & Compliance

**About You**
- Industry recognized accreditation / certification in risk and/or compliance / CA / CPA (desirable)
- 5+ years’ experience in regulatated industries with a compliance capacity
- 5+ years’ experience in operational risk management and control advisory
- Track record of preparing and delivering risk and compliance materials that influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to understand and map out business processes and functions, operating models and business architectures to diagnose critical issues
