Machine Operator

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operations of a range of industrial plant and equipment, including CNC machinery, pneumatic systems, basic hydraulic systems etc
- Read and interpret technical drawings as required to perform your duties
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process. This may involve diagnosing and addressing mechanical or technical problems
- Ensure than onsite services are delivered safely and efficiently, keeping to schedule
- Maintain strong work ethic and customer focus
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and quality control checks
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to report any issues, share information, and contribute to a collaborative work environment
- Look for opportunities to improve efficiency in machine operation, reduce downtime, and optimise production processesFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience as Machine Operator in a similar manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Understanding and ability to read/interpret technical drawings
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to build effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders
- Strong Computing skillsBasic MIG/GMAW Welding experience (desirable)
