**MAINTENANCE FITTERS**

We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Maintenance Fitters join our team. You will primarily support the smooth running of our production by ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to avoid downtime.

Orora is a leader in the supply of packaging solutions. Operating a modern state-of-the-art glass bottle manufacturing facility in Gawler; they are committed to the safety of their people and are currently on the hunt for mulitple Maintenance Fitters who have a passion for continuous improvement and safety.

**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Mechanical Fitters join our team at Orora Glass, Kingsford SA. You will primarily support and enhance the performance of job changes and the smooth running of our production by ensuring all equipment is mechanically maintained to the highest standards to avoid downtime.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair all equipment as required;
- Respond to breakdowns;
- Make adjustments to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery;
- Log information as required;
- Maintain plant spares where required;
- Repair plant equipment as required;
- Report all items that cause machinery to perform under standard and record all machine anomalies to the engineering department;
- Participate in a shift hand over prior to finishing work to ensure oncoming shift is aware of all relevant information;
- Assist the engineering team where required;
- Preventative maintenance tasks.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Trade Qualification - Maintenance Fitter;
- Proven attention to detail;
- Ability to manage changing priorities;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A demonstrated ability to follow standardised process and work systematically;
- Capacity to work autonomously.

In conjunction with the above, the successful applicant will must have a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude. Being able to work as part of a team as well as independently is imperative as is experience within a maintenance team environment.
