We are currently seeking **_Forklift Cargo Operators _**for an exciting opportunity located at Sydney Airport and surrounding suburbs.
- Hold and maintain a valid CAT 2 licence.
- Perform basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment including refuelling of vehicles.
- Deliver the company moto People, Passion, Pride to our partner airlines, AdaGold, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Garuda Indonesia, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, Samoa Airways, Solomon Airlines, Thai Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin Australia International, British Airways, Sri Lankan Airways and Vietnam Airways.
- Use basic knowledge of keyboard and function keys to enter and retrieve data through computer terminal/personal computer and operate printing devices.
- Perform duties which centre on ‘hands on' activities in all areas including that which is directly and indirectly associated with aircraft handling and/or freight shed.
- This includes receipt and dispatch, sort or breakdown of cargo to customer specifications.
- Operate equipment and vehicles including tow motors and forklifts in accordance with safe operating procedures.
- Carry out established procedures ensuring freight is handled correctly including the loading and unloading of freight from ULD's and vehicles.
- Perform cargo security screening including operating screening equipment such as ETD and x-ray machines.
- Ensure cargo irregularity reports are completed in Hermes and respective photos taken.
- Working knowledge of sectional operating procedures, requirements and systems.
- Dangerous goods awareness and handling requirements.
- Security awareness.
- Work down as Directed.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Be able to obtain, hold and maintain Forklift Licence
- Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team or autonomously
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong Administrative skills essential
- Aviation experience desirable but not essential
