The Andersen Partnership has just been retained by a mid-tier accounting firm located in the Perth CBD to source a talented and driven Principal to join the team during a growth phase. As a Principal, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our clients business and play a key role in driving the firm's success.
As a Principal, you will manage and lead a fee base of around $1m of fees under your directive, with a team of staff including a manager underneath. Your fee base will mainly be comprised of large to medium-sized client groups and high net worth family groups, providing you with the opportunity to work on challenging and diverse engagements.
You will also work in partnership with the firm's other partners to help grow and develop the practice, bringing your own experience and expertise to the table.
Additionally, if you are currently a sole practitioner you will have the ability to integrate your own team into theirs, creating a cohesive and effective working environment.
Key Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on taxation and business services
- A relevant degree in accounting or related field
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams of staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach to business development and growth
- CA or CPA qualification is a must
