**The Hospital**:
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.

**The Role**:
Our client is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for Staff Specialist - Emergency Department vacancies. he Hospital provides most specialist medical services for the region and state.The Emergency Department has direct access to all medical and surgical specialities and has approximately 75,000 presentations per year. The Emergency Department is staffed by specialists, registrars, nurses and clinical support staff who work together as a dynamic team with strong focus on collegiality.

**The Requirements**:

- NZ FACEM or SMO willing to do the ACEM Specialist Assessment after interview.
