Our client is a market leader in licensed and branded soft goods within the Australian retail market. They have a product offering that crosses numerous categories including Apparel, Footwear, Bags, and Manchester.

As a company, they pride themselves not only on design and innovation but also their positive and motivated work place. They are seeking an apparel Designer to join their small footwear team, assisting with developing and designing apparel for their private label brands.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Research key trends, shapes and colour palettes to create mood boards that direct each season
- Design story boards of product in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Create footwear designs in line with 2 brands following their aesthetic and market
- Design creatively with licensor brands
- Liaise with production to ensure finished product is up to standard

**EXPERIERNCE**
To match with the business values and fit this role you will be/have:

- Strong knowledge of footwear construction
- Men's or Kidsn apparel experience is advantageous
- An understanding of Graphic Design
- Tertiary education in Fashion Design or Graphic Design
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team atmosphere
