Experienced Finance Officer required for a permanent position in the CBD, opportunity to join a fast-growing Financial Services business.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for assisting the finance team with day-to-day accounting support duties, which will drive the performance of the team. The organisation is conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD with some of the most impressive offices the city has to offer. As they are a national business you will also be given some opportunities to work from interstate offices. The business invests in the health & wellbeing of all staff offering a complimentary gym membership for you to take advantage of. While predominantly office based, the business does offer some WFH with most of the team opting to work 1 day at home per week.

Some typical duties will involve:

- Accounts Payable
- Invoice Processing
- Payment Runs
- Supplier Queries
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable
- Generate Invoices
- Allocation of Payment
- Credit Control
- Month End Support

**Your Profile**

The client is open to a wide variety of profiles for this role, with the most important characteristics around communication & work ethic. The client can tailor this role to suit a Junior Accountant / Finance Officer who has ambitions to become an Assistant Accountant in the future. They can add more responsibility over time and support you through your CA/CPA Journey. Equally, if you enjoy the AP/AR duties and want to remain focused on these duties they are also open to a career Finance Officer profile.
