**About the role**

As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the following:

- Maintaining sorters, conveyors, crushers and shredders
- Installations and repairs
- Fault finding and preventative duties
- Participate in breakdowns and root cause analysis
- Working in a mixed trades maintenance team

**To be successful, you will possess the following**:

- Trade qualified Industrial Mechanical Fitters
- Would also consider boilermakers with fixed plant maintenance experience
- Exceptional team player
- Tig & Mig Welding and fabrication is a must have skill as there is a lot of plate patching
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: $48.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- TIG welding: 2 years (required)
- MIG welding: 2 years (required)
- Fabrication: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Mechanical Fitter qualification (required)
- Boilermaker qualification (required)
