For over 25 years they have been advising clients on investments across private equity, real assets & private credit. The private equity capabilities of the firm include direct, secondary and co-investment, with over A$9bn in funds under management. The team, headquartered in Sydney, already boasts a significant presence in Asia and is looking to further grow their presence globally. With this in mind, they are looking to add an Analyst or Associate to their team in Sydney, with a focus on their unique and cutting edge secondaries and co-investment strategy.

The role will have a broader APAC focus and play a critical role in realising the firm’s long-term growth potential for US and European expansion. Some of the major responsibilities for this role are:

- Analysing, evaluating and executing primary, secondary, co-investment opportunities across APAC and selective global markets
- Building financial models & preparing financial analyses in regards to potential investment opportunities
- Preparation of internal investment recommendation material
- Supporting initial due diligence; evaluating target fundamentals, valuation and exit prospects
- Prepare & attend meetings with managers, intermediaries, companies
- Assist in post-investment monitoring & client reporting materials

This close-knit and collaborative team are looking for the right person to join their team, and some of the key attributes that you will bring to be considered for this role are:

- ~2-4 years work experience in a strong professional services environment (investment banking, management consulting, transaction services, asset consulting/advisory)
- Passion for public or private market investing
- Strong financial modelling & valuation experience
- Strong verbal & written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
