IPA has been providing quality staffing solutions across Australia for over 30 years and has a strong partnership with our clients. We are partnering with a Federal Government client based in Brisbane to source an APS6 Intake Allocator.
**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Collaborate in managing the regional allocation queue by liaising and consulting with In-Centre Clinicians, Outreach Program Clinicians, and administrative staff.
- Perform intake assessments to determine suitability for couples and family counselling, including screening for Family and Domestic Violence.
- Conduct counselling intake assessments for internal referrals from Community and Peer Advisors and Clinical Care Coordinators when necessary.
- Maintain a modest clinical caseload as agreed upon with the Assistant Director.
- Engage in community development and service promotion activities as needed.
- Participate in evaluation and research initiatives, contributing to project management efforts that align with strategic goals and quality improvement recommendations. Additionally, provide feedback for the continuous development of clinical policies and procedures as required.
**Essential requirements include**:
- Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
- Qualifications as a Counsellor with a minimum Level 4 Australian Counselling Association registration.
