Reporting to the Beacon Program Lead, the Education Project Officer (Beacon Program) will be part of a team that develops engaging and curriculum-aligned lesson plans, as well as other unique content that incorporate emerging technologies and reflect best practice. They will be working on the day to day operations of our Beacon Program, which is run nationally and internationally.

**A day on the job will see you**:

- Coordinating the day to day operations of our education programs including the Beacon in-school programs and holiday programs
- Delivering the Beacon student holiday program in South Australia and other states around Australia
- Delivering technology-based teacher professional development courses
- Designing, developing and implementing innovative student focused lesson plans and programs
- Developing strong relationships with stakeholders to create immersive learning resources and activities

**To impress us you’ll need**:

- A tertiary qualification in Education
- A minimum of 3 years experience in creating, evaluating and delivering curriculum linked educational content in a classroom or other similar setting
- A passion for and understanding of best practice when using emerging technologies like VR, AR, AI, robotics, coding etc in the classroom
- The ability to obtain a Working with Children’s Check/s for the state you are working in
- Your own car and current driver’s license is a plus
