Overview

The Medical Education Project Coordinator works under limited direction and is responsible for coordinating medical education and training activities across SA Health including:

- Leading the development and implementation of medical education and training including ICT solutions and activities to support medical education, training and accreditation throughout South Australia.

- Providing ongoing service management of existing ICT solutions.

- Providing expert advice, support and training to SA MET and Local Health Networks, hospital staff and users to facilitate the innovative and effective delivery of state-wide medical education and training through online channels.

- Contributing to the facilitation of a community of practice, to share best practice, build capacity and work on challenges of medical practitioners in South Australia.

- Contributing to the success of medical education and training activities by contributing to project and program management across a range of initiatives.

- Provide secretariat support to SA MET Health Advisory Council Sub-Committees as required.

- Support and work collaboratively with the Medical Education Support Officer.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.

- Criminal History Screening Requirement: A National Police Certificate (NPC) or Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups.

- Immunisation: Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease policy in the workplace.
