Our client is national, acquisitive and fast growing. Their finance team seek to hire a business savvy Payroll Officer to support them as they continue to grow and expand.
This role will work in a close knit team of (3) payroll professionals and provide end to end payroll services for an organization with approximately 450 employees.
**About the role**
A day in the life of this role, will include some the following responsibilities:
- Performing the accurate payroll for up to 400 employees p/week;
- Responsible for Superannuation, PAYG Withholding Tax, Single Touch Payroll and payroll deduction payments;
- Maintaining employee records and updating all data related to the payroll function;
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and awards; and
- Ad hoc duties as directed by the GM of Finance.
**About you**
- 3+ years prior experience in a similar high-volume / complex role.
- Prior experience with Preceda or Traffio (not essential, highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, well organised and display initiative to improve practices.
- Intermediate Excel Skills.
- Proven capacity to work autonomously and to approach activities with initiative.
- A capability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, professional relationships.
**Benefits**
