This local government council is looking to hire an Administration professional to a Clerical Officer position on a temporary basis with a potential for extension. This council is based in Western Sydney and is active in managing the area for the community.

**Your new role**

This particular role sits with the council’s Animal Shelter Centre. The purpose of this position is to undertake administrative duties to meet the local government council’s service needs. Duties of this role include:

- Maintaining a clean and healthy office presentation.
- General administration and office management duties.
- Providing effective services to customers and ensuring the needs of the general community are met.
- Adhering to legislative requirements and council policies and procedures.

In order to be successful for this role, you will:

- Have previous administration experience with local government experience being advantageous
- Confident, go-getter attitude who can hit the ground running
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
