**Role Description/Criteria**
The successful applicant will:

- enjoy working with children of various backgrounds
- demonstrate an understanding of effective teaching strategies
- be committed to creating a rich learning community.
The successful applicant must:
- be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement
- be committed to upholding our High Expectations for all students
- familiar with legal obligations relating to child safety (e.g mandatory reporting) and demonstrate a commitment to our Child Safe policies and procedures
- hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
- commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Catholic Church
- have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- have or be willing to complete accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school
- proof of double vaccination against COVID-19
