Explorers Early Learning is owned by a local Melbourne family. We pride ourselves on being local and extremely passionate about providing quality care and practising the Explorers philosophy.

We value our educators and reflect on and enhance each educator’s professional development. We run 'Enrichment' programs to encourage children to express themselves through Art, 'Sport' & Gardening and Sustainability.

**How can you support us**:
To be successful in leadership roles at Explorers Early Learning, we would like to see experience in leading and managing teams. Along with the daily running of the centre we are looking for someone who can build relationships with the families, children, educators and the wider community

We value our educators and want to help them grow in their career to develop within Explorers. This is a full-time position where you need to be flexible to work both ends of the day so you can build those relationships with the families and the teams.

The role will also include mentoring, supporting and celebrating the success of your team. In turn, you will have the support of our operations managers and will attend monthly Director meetings / workshops.

**Key requirements**:

- An approved early learning qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in early childhood, preferably long day care
- Minimum 2 years in a management role
- A sound understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Working with children check
- Working rights in Australia
